Paris Versus New York Book Launch
Tomorrow night at The Standard in NYC.
Tomorrow night, Paris-based graphic designer, Vahram Muratyan will launch his new book Paris Versus New York, A Tally of Two Cities. The illustrated book makes cute comparisons between the two cities including its personalities (for example the hairstyles of Sonia Rykiel and Anna Wintour; the glasses of Jean-Luc Godard and Woody Allen), architecture (the Pont Des Arts and the Brooklyn Bridge), food and drink (an expresso versus an Americano; a baguette and a bagel) and other cultural markers. The event will take place at The Shop at The Standard in New York, and will include an installation of framed images from the book (signed and numbered by the artist) as well as custom wallpaper Vahram has created in collaboration with Colette (below).

Retailing for $20, copies are available for sale here.

'Paris versus New York' Book Signing & Exhibition at The Standard Shop in New York will take place on Thursday February 2 from 6 - 8pm.
The Shop at The Standard is located at 444 West 13th Street, New York.
