pin-up prep school

If you’ve ever wanted to channel your inner Dita Von Teese, or just needed a decent excuse to parade around like a tart, then look no further than the Pin-up Finishing School in NYC! The school is run by Joanne Van Vranken, also known as Rocket J, a professional Burlesque dancer and pin-up model. She wanted to create a fun and supportive environment for every girl who’s ever wanted to learn the art of the pin-up. The day-long workshop starts off by teaching you how to apply the perfect hair and make-up for the right 1950′s-style look. Next comes the education on how to pose glamorously, priming you for your very own photo-shoot so you can really show-off watchya momma gave ya. This includes a series of 8×10 print photos and a personal website where your new sassy images are published. Just make sure your Dad doesn’t find it. Awk-ward.
