Poe by Poepke
The Paddington boutique launches an in-house range.
Housing avant-garde Belgium designers like Ann Demeulesmeester, Christian Wijants, Dries Van Noten and Bernhard Willhelm, Peopke is one of our favourite places to max out our credit cards. And now we've got even more of an excuse to pop in and splurge - Peopke have just launched an in-house range called 'POE'. Made and designed in Australia by Olivia Mai, who has just returned from London after a stint at Eley Kishimoto, the collection is all loose silhouettes, rope drawstrings and Peter Pan collars. We love the playful matchstick print and double denim will always get our tick of approval. Check out the look book images below.
In other Paddington retail related news, the Australian Red Cross has just opened a vintage store called Red Threads. It's no old hat op-shop, with its colour-coded racks of handpicked knits, dresses and separates. The store even boasts a 'celebrity threads' collection - new-season pieces donated by the likes of Scanlan & Theodore, Romance Was Born, and sass & bide, but with tags marked at a fraction of the retail price. Red Threads shoppers will also have a chance to nab one of Cate Blanchett's Giorgio Armani gowns and Ruby Rose's Gucci watch. Drop into Red Threads at 390 Oxford Street, Paddington.
