Social Snaps: Mulberry's Coachella Pool Party

Feat. Kate Bosworth, Emma Watson, Hanne Gaby, Dree Hemingway and more.

Mulberry don’t just make bags, you guys. They also know how to party (yew!). The lux label’s Creative Director Emma Hill invited a guest list of it-people to take some time out during Coachella to splash around in style, as opposed to the usual festival staple of mud.

And what better theme for a Palm Springs pool party than your own label’s inspiration for AW12? This season, Mulberry took their lead from the much loved and oft-interpreted kid’s book, Where the Wild Things Are. Translating the collection’s point of reference, Mulberry made monster fur-print towels and monster cushions for the occasion. And what’s a party without a giant monster lilo floating around in the hotel pool?

Girls like Emma Watson, Kate Bosworth, Hanne Gaby, Dree Hemingway and Arizona Muse played the role of the party’s popular chicks, while the internet-hyped Wild Belle, were the resident indie band. It’s maybe not as legit-indie as playing Coachella itself, but to be fair, there were already two bands on the lineup with names starting with “Wild.”

Check out all the babes with your own eyes in the gallery!
