Social Snaps: Adidas All Originals Represent Halfway Crooks
Ain't no party like a warehouse party!
For almost four years now, the Halfway Crooks DJs have been throwing the best rap parties in Sydney, responsible for many gin and juice-infused hazy memories and krumping-related injuries. On Saturday night, they — they being Captain Franco, Elston and Levins — teamed up with adidas Originals for a warehouse party like no other.
It was a perfect pairing. As the eHow article titled 'Hip Hop's Effects on Teens' explains, "Teens wanting to fit into the hip hop culture in the early 80s knew a fresh pair of Adidas sneakers helped them walk the way of hip hop." Thanks eHow! Fellow DJ (and Brown Cardigan internet celebrity) Radge also played while guests, wearing their Three Stripes, bumped and grinded all night long while sipping back Asahi, Vodka Cruisers and Strongbow.
Halfway Crooks' next party will take place on 15 December at Phoenix Bar, Darlinghurst.
