Social Snaps: Opening Ceremony x Adidas Originals Sydney Launch
The capsule collection goes on sale today!
Last month we got all excited about the Opening Ceremony x adidas Originals collection, and last night we partied at the Sydney launch event. The sports-inspired collaboration celebrates both the London Olympics and Opening Ceremony's first UK store. As always, Opening Ceremony founders/designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim (who we interviewed for #94) get it SO right. The collection features Opening Ceremony's signature bandana print, as well as neoprene, waterproof stretchy fabrics, mesh, and exposed zippers, plus lots of the pieces are reversible!
Guests — who included blogger Tanja Gacic, Romance Was Born designers Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales and Little Hero's Rae Begley — knocked back Absolut Wild Tea cocktails (you can win yourself some in our Absolut Wild Tea giveaway!), and sweet, sweet cider care of Bulmers. Oh, and our resident DJ — DJ Perfect Snatch — also played great music all night long.
The collection is available exclusively in Australia from today onwards at the adidas Originals Pitt Street Westfield store in Sydney.
