Social Snaps: Topshop Topman Sydney Launch
Apparently the budget for the party was $250,000!
Last night was the opening party for the brand spanking new Topshop and Topman in the iconic Gowings building. The four-story shop was jam packed with people, reflective of the genuine buzz surrounding the British retailer's Sydney debut. The Moët was flowing — apparently there were 600 bottles (!) — and the catering by Matt Moran was delish (props to the oysters). The Sydney Morning Herald reports on a rumour that the party cost a jaw-dropping $250,000.
Actresses Sophie Lowe and Isabelle Cornish were in attendance, alongside models Anja Konstantinova and Kelsey Martinovich. Hayden from Masterchef was even there which excited me greatly, as were The Veronicas, who I didn't get to personally see with my own eyes, which saddened me greatly. With performances from The Preachers and Slow Blow DJs, it was 1800 square metres of fun. There were even groups of teenage girls setting up camp out the front, hoping to be the first in the door when it officially opened to the public this morning.
