Something Else Eyewear
This summer sees Something Else's first sunglasses collection.
According to Something Else, your future is so bright you gotta wear shades. Designer Natalie Wood tries her hand at sunglass design this summer and we thoroughly approve. Whether worn for the functional purpose of protecting the delicate retina from the harsh UV ray or for more dubious means to disguise bloodshot eyes or veil identity in the vein of Britney Spears at a gas station, a pair of these shades is sure to be your new go-to guy.
Called 'Window To The Sky', there are three styles in the collection - the basic frame, the radiant frame and the classic frame - in colours of smokey quartz, amber, and amethyst, which take inspiration from the healing properties of these crystals. Amber, for example, is good for memory and intellect, so while you may not get X-ray vision with these glasses, perhaps you will have a newfound knack for remembering people's names and impressing company with profoundly intelligent off-the-cuff statements.
Priced around $200, these sunglasses are so good that we wouldn't even entirely hate it if someone was to wear them indoors (which is, ordinarily, inexcusable).
'Window To The Sky' will be available at Incu and selected boutiques from October.
