Something Else Spring 2012 Lookbook

Including pieces from the collaboration with Julie Verhoeven as previewed in Oyster #99.

Something Else's Natalie Wood collaborated with artist Julie Verhoeven for the label's latest collection. For Oyster #99, we sat down with the collaborators and gave them a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality test, the results of which demonstrate that the pair's complementary attributes are likely to produce very decent work indeed. And now, we get to see that work in its finished form! The t-shirt dresses and kimono jackets emblazoned with rorscach-style inkblot dreamscapes will be statement staples for the coming season. The lookbook for Something Else's Spring 2012 'Outlaw' collection is styled by Zara Mirkin and shot by Bec Parsons, with five pieces featuring artwork by Julie.

Something Else also previously collaborated with frequent Oyster contributor Maya Villiger not long ago on a virtual lookbook for the Winter 2012 collection featuring Julia Nobis.
