Somewhere Gallery Helps the Lost Dogs' Home
Buy some art! Adopt a puppy!
When I was little, I dressed my dog up up in dolls clothes, put her in a pram, forced her over a jumping course and tried to brush her teeth with Colgate and a toothbrush - but she still loved me. That's just what dogs do. So, the thought of all the dogs out there without anyone to love makes me sad.
It makes Somewhere Gallery sad too. That's why they're holding a group exhibition on Wednesday 9 March, with 100% of the proceeds going directly towards helping the thousands of lost, abandoned and injured dogs (and cats) that the The Lost Dogs' Home cares for. The show will focus on artists and their pets and the goal is to raise awareness for all the work The Lost Dogs' Home do, while encouraging people to adopt one of the little guys back at the shelter.
The night will include a live auction of the works and a delicious bake sale - so you can go to an exhibition, raise some funds and get a puppy, all in the one night!
The exhibition will run from 6pm-8pm, Wednesday 9 March until 6 April at Shop 29, The Royal Arcade, 314 Little Collins St Melbourne.
