The Splendour 2012 lineup has just been announced! And it is MASSIVE (see, I even had to employ caps lock for EMPHASIS). The headline acts include Lana Del Rey, Azealia Banks, Jack White, Smashing Pumpkins, Bloc Party, At The Drive-In, The Shins, Gossip... No, we are not making this up. “Holy shit” pretty much sums it up, right?

This year the festival returns to its home at Byron Bay, and will happen on Friday July 27 — Sunday 29 at Belongil Fields. The tickets will go on sale next Friday at 9am.
