sweet scents

DKNY have avoided the usual suspects for their new Delicious Candy Apple perfume campaign, favouring animated apples over gorgeous models. Diabetics beware: this whimsical new commercial is so darn cute that it may induce a sugar high. The saccharine stop-motion video begins with three green apples in a candy store and 8 their cross over to candy-apple status via lollipop windmills and toffee baths. And if the bright colours don't cheer you up, the chirpy whistle song will. The campaign is aimed at promoting the new DKNY Delicious Candy Apple perfume (which comes in three limited edition flavours: Sweet Caramel, Ripe Raspberry and Juicy Berry), but the music that accompanies it may become the official sweet tooth anthem instead.
