Besides writhing around in a spew of vibrant colour, Osaka-based artist Ikko Taniuchi also does drawings. Lovely ones. Taniuchi’s illustrations of creatures and animals have been reworked into detailed prints and embroidered textures in a capsule collection produced with Australian label Rittenhouse.
These pieces are available at Poepke, where for the next two weeks there is a window installation featuring a range of Taniuchi’s original works.
