Top 5: NYFW FW13 Moments
A$AP and Fashion Toast front row BFFs, Chanel hula hoop bag street style, Butthole Surfers, a hand as a bra and more.
One Fashion Week down, three to go. Here are the best things that happened at New York Fashion Week.
Best front row couple...

This top moment award definitely goes to A$AP Rocky and Fashion Toast at Jeremy Scott. Not only did he close the Hood By Air show, but the rapper also got up close and personal with some fashyn bloggers. Selfies or it didn't happen. We know that FT has a BF (do you think all those outfit photos just appear out of nowhere? There's a man for that) but you've got to admit these two look pretty cute together. The ideal outcome from this situation would be if A$AP was inspired to start a fashion blog (prettymotherfucker.org is one suggestion). This is what the internet needs.
Best street style look...

Just a casual Chanel hula hoop bag. Marie Claire Accessories Director Kyle Anderson shows us how to incorporate this key SS13 runway piece into an everyday look.
Best houdini...

Last month it came to light that John Galliano would return to the fashion world, working with Oscar de la Renta. Galliano did not take a bow at the end of the show, nor was he credited as an assistant in the program notes, but he was backstage during the show. However he remained out of sight. In conclusion, there must have been some sort of Harry Potter invisibility cloak involved.
Best show soundtrack...
As it states in the Fashion Bible, "the music maketh thy show." Our #1 has to go Rodarte, who took a trip back to the 90s with this sweet stoner-infused tracklist:
'Pepper' — Butthole Surfers
'Blackhole' — Beck
'Virginia Reel Around the Fountain' — The Halo Benders
'Start Choppin'' — Dinosaur Jr.
Best display of mild nudity...

Lily McMenamy (Kristen's daughter), walked for Marc Jacobs exclusively. Sans top, and pants, basically.
