Top 5: Sia Collaborations
Sia's 'Best Of' album is out tomorrow, we celebrate with Flight of the Conchords and WWE WrestleMania.
Here are some reasons to like Sia if you don't already. Her Twitter account proclaims that she was "born from the bumhole of a unicorn named Steve" and she accepted her 2010 ARIA by announcing that she wanted to stick it up her butt. She's also one of Australia's biggest musical exports.
Sia Furler was born in Adelaide to parents who were in rockabilly band The Soda Jerks. Her own illustrious career spans 15 years and has earned her Mercury and Grammy nominations, four ARIA awards, #1 worldwide singles and opportunities to collaborate with some of the word's finest musicians. She's now releasing a 'Best Of' album celebrating her most recognised songs, including 'Titanium' with David Guetta and rounding off with the CSS remix of 'Buttons'. To commemorate 15 years of Sia making music, here are five noteworthy collaborative moments that aren't featured on the album:
1. 'The Bully'
In 2004 Sia co-wrote and recorded three songs with Beck. Two of them were never released, but 'The Bully' was featured on Sia's album Colour the Small One.
2. 'Bound to You'
Sia approached Christina Aguilera's manager in 2007 to record 'Death by Chocolate' and Christina contacted Sia herself. After collaborating with Christina on tracks for her album Bionic, Sia and Samuel Dixon co-wrote 'Bound to You' for the soundtrack of 2010's Burlesque.
3. 'You Don't Have to be a Prostitute'
Saving men from the streets since 2009, Sia provides the backing vocals for this Flight of the Conchords song.

4. 'Wild Ones'
Sia 8 on this Flo Rida track, which was chosen as the theme song for WWE WrestleMania XXVIII 2012 (there have been 28 WrestleManias)
5. "Sweet One"
This duet between Sia and Katie Noonan was recorded in 2005 but it didn't end up featuring on either artist's album.
