Toro Y Moi for Baron Wells
The musician teams up with Baron Wells to create the first post-chillwave lookbook.
Models who try their hand at music are nothing new, but chillwave-multi-instrumentalist-turned-menswear-model is a less common moniker. Though for Toro y Moi, aka Chazwick Bundick, it's one that makes perfect sense. The musician, who is also a talented photographer and graphic designer, has teamed up with New York-based clothing company Baron Wells to create their latest lookbook. Shot inside New York City's Ace Hotel, the 10 photographs show Bundick lounging around in 'smart casual' staples of baby blue shirts and relaxed-fit beige chinos.

The clothes themselves are minimal in design and mesh well with their model's unsmiling introspectiveness, yet are definitely on the more experimental side of traditional business attire - are post-chillwave lookbooks a 'thing'? If not, they should be - Bundick looks so peaceful as he brushes his teeth while admiring the NYC skyline, and doesn't look completely uncomfortable submerged in bathwater wearing jeans and a buttoned-up shirt. In fact, he makes it look like these are the ideal conditions for lyrical and instrumental inspiration. We wish we had time to do things like this before leaving for the office each morning.
