Tumblr Is Down
RIP precious angel (for now, at least).
Maybe the Mayans were right and the end of the world really is nigh — Tumblr is down.
It's not you. It's me. It's everyone. Site-checking tool DownForEveryoneOrJustMe shows Tumblr is down at this time for the Entire Universe.
The site, which receives 20 billion pageviews per month, went down for a few minutes yesterday afternoon. The most recent official update from Tumblr comes as tough news to anyone who works in an office job and wanted to procrastinate from actually doing anything productive this morning.
Luckily, Twitter is still going strong, and that's exactly where the masses are voicing their frustrations at the World Wide Web gods.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?
