Oystervision: 3.1 Phillip Lim FW12 NYFW

A 2012 take on power dressing was the order of the day at the 3.1 Phillip Lim FW12 NYFW presentation. The show opened with a white cape, but other than that Lim's superhero inspiration was subtly woven into the collection. Structured trousers and shirts, intimidating silhouettes and waists cinched with futuristic belts all pointed to the idea of powerful clothes for powerful women. What's not to like?! Definitely one of our favourite collections of the week so far, we went backstage before the show:
