Tyler, The Creator Collaborates with Miley Cyrus

On a track co-written by Mary J. Blige.

Remember last year when the whole world stopped because Miley Cyrus got a new haircut? And remember how Tyler, The Creator was tuning her/teasing her on Twitter about it and she called his face a 'fuck job' (heh)? Following this public display of schoolyard affection, you may also recall us predicting a potential collaboration between the two. It turns out we were right. Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

The Salvia-smoking Hannah Montana star has confirmed that the Odd Future rap brat (who we spoke with in our Music Issue) will be featured on her new album. In an interview which we will be published in the March issue of Cosmopolitan, Miley says he will cameo on a track that she co-wrote with Mary J. Blige (the plot thickens).

"Tyler, The Creator heard it and said, 'I am obsessed with this song, and I will guest on it if you promise me that you will keep it on the album.' And he killed it!" she says, adding, "I really didn't want to make a hip-hop record, and I'm not trying at all to be a Rihanna or a Nicki [Minaj]....That's not my vibe." No shit.

She also explains that the upcoming album will be a "weird mixture" of the things she grew up listening to — Nelly, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and metal. Sounds... eclectic.

Miley also talks about another Odd Future member in her Cosmo interview — Frank Ocean. "I like that he came out and admitted he was gay, because that still affects people's careers. If you don't think it does, it fucking does, and he did not care," she says. "I think it's going to make him even bigger." So in other words Miley might be the next member of OFWGKTA.
