Urban Outfitters: Country of Origin

Urban Outfitters are launching a new art exhibition, and they're giving you free shipping to celebrate!

Disregarding the occasional colony of naturists, it's a pretty safe assumption that the appreciation of fashion transcends cultures. It is with this in mind that US retailer Urban Outfitters has embarked on its latest artistic venture, Country of Origin, an exhibition of multinational photography that celebrates unique perspectives on clothing from all of the far-flung corners of the world.

Taking place at Melbourne's Dear Patti Smith gallery, the exhibition will feature photographs from artists handpicked by Urban Outfitters from the digital depths of the internet. The photographers were sent a selection of Urban Outfitters clothes to shoot in their own disparate styles. The result is an exciting collection of photographs that see the artists, their respective countries and the international appeal of Urban Outfitters' clothes represented in fresh new ways. Featured artists include France's Aurelien Arbet and Jeremie Egry, South Korea's Hasisi Park, Serbia's Ana Kras and Australia's very own Samuel Hodge.

The exhibition will take place at Dear Patti Smith on Friday 20 May, 6-8pm and will be followed by an after party at Goodtime Studios, Carlton, featuring performances from Bamboo Musik and DJs Dave P and Sammy Slice.

To celebrate Country of Origin, Urban Outfitters are offering free shipping to Australian customers from Tuesday 24 May to Thursday 26 May for orders over $150. Just enter the code UOXOYSTER at checkout to get all of your goodies shipped free of charge.
