Vice Presents Chateau Rdio at Beach Road Hotel

When Vice puts its name to a party, you know it's going to be fairly epic. This Saturday at Bondi's Beach Road Hotel, Vice will present the launch of Rdio in Australia, the world's best music streaming service. Rdio is like carrying around a million songs in your pocket, and allows you to play whatever you want, whenever you want. It's fitting then, that Canyons, Alpine, Jonti (who we featured as a fresh new face of 2011), Collarbones, and oh, you know, just a little band called DAS RACIST will play at the launch. There's also going to be DJ sets from the likes of Twin Shadow and Austra, and the Beach Road will be decked out with a bunch of hotel rooms filled with strange and cool things to touch, smell, hear and taste. As Vice explains, "basically, it'll be like running around inside the music collection of someone whose taste in music doesn't suck."
