Watch: Andrew W.K. Speak at My Little Pony Convention
Friendship is magic, partying is magic.
We made a Photoshop to express our joy.
Andrew W.K. (who we interviewed a few months ago) isn't only psyched about partying — he's just a super-positive dude in general. So much so that he started motivational speaking in 2005 and has affirmed lives at huge events like Comic-Con and SXSW. But when we heard that the party animal did a panel at the My Little Pony convention at Canterlot Gardens, we were like, "OK, what the hell is this all about?"
Andrew W.K. says, "This is not a panel, this is not a lecture. This is a..." [crowd yells, riotously] "Party!" In the hour-long video, he reminds us that haters gonna hate, it's cool to be into the shit you're into, and to not sweat the small stuff. "Whatever you want to play with, it's okay. It's not only okay, it's good." So inspiring. Keep partying.
