American duo Chester French bring us their first true slow jam with the single 'Drop' from their album MUSIC 4 TNGRS. For anyone feeling disheartened on the matter of love, here is a surefire remedy!
LA socialite (and possibly the reincarnation of Romeo) Niko Da Ikon, directs and stars in the video. He swathes around with an immaculately hairless man-chest, crooning epic chivalries such as, "I bet you've never been out on a date like this before, with a real gentleman, who opens up the doors" before revealing the ultimate date fate: "once you get through the door, those panties gonna drop, drop, drop to the floor."
The track sounds something of an 'N Sync B-side combined with an R. Kelly tribute — all positive connotations. True poeticism rings clear with lines such as, "Put on some Ren and Stimpy while you're getting skimpy". If the lyrical genius and hypnotically salacious visuals aren't convincing enough, rest assured that the hypnotic vibes, organic synths and cascading vocals will guarantee that your next date is a success.
