Florence Welch and Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange, who we interviewed for Oyster #98) seem to have had the time of their lives at this year's Coachella. And nothing says 'time of your life' like impromptu performances of Green Day hits! Watch below, as they tear through the Nimrod gem that is 'Hitchin' a Ride.' A special shout-out to Florence for forgetting the words multiple times, and extra points to Dev for keeping her on track.
It's not the first time these guys have worked together; Dev recorded this very Prince-esque rendition of Ceremonial's 'Never Let Me Go'.
Speaking of Green Day, fans and nostalgic hangers-on can expect plenty more musical flash backs where this came from, with news that the three-piece are releasing a trio-worth of new albums, called ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!. The three-pack release will also include two documentaries, chronicling the band's early years.
