Watch Kathryn Bigelow's Surf Film for Chanel
The pro surfer gets his model on for Allure Homme Sport.
Here is something to look at that will make your afternoon pass much more smoothly. Pro surfer Danny Fuller has been picked up by Chanel as the new face (and body) of their Allure Homme Sport perfume, shooting four short videos for the brand on a secret spot in Hawaii.
Being the genetically blessed creative that he is it was probably only a matter of time before the pro surfer/emerging photographer tried his hand at modeling. But apparently this particular project required him to audition(!) alongside a bunch of lookalikes that Chanel had lined up, before they realised that the guy they were using as an image reference was actually still alive and actually still an ultimate babe.
Chanel has infiltrated the surfing world before with a range of $4000 surfboards, which is odd considering that the board in the ad is devoid of any double Cs. Perhaps it's because Danny is sponsored by RVCA (fun fact - he's actually wearing RVCA board shorts in the ad) but who needs obvious logos to sell products when you have the Holy Grail of abdominal perfection?
Adding to the allure of these videos are the sweet skills of Academy Award-winning film director Kathryn Bigelow, who has previously helmed projects such as Point Break and The Hurt Locker. Watch the other three ads below.
