Watch: Odd Future's Short Film 'Sam Is Dead'

Odd Future has just pulled a Michael Jackson. Chill, no one's been accused of anything. The hip-hop collective has taken a cue from videos like Jackson's thirteen-minute epic 'Thriller' and turned the humble music video into arty short cinema. They've just released 'Sam is Dead', a new short film directed and scored by Tyler, the Creator's alter ego, Wolf Haley, starring Tyler and Domo Genesis.
Trash Talk's Lee Spielman, Earl Sweatshirt, Hodgy "Breath", Lucas Vercetti and a bunch of other OF dudes also appear in the video, which is kind of like Apocalypse Now if its cast were entirely composed of teenage hooligans. The highlight of the seven minute movie is when Tyler (who's wearing a t-shirt with a giant kitten on it, obvs) gets shot between the eyes by a firing squad but keeps rapping, anyway.
