watch: 'sail away' by the rapture
Like experiencing the world through the eyes of a small child... on acid.
Watching The Rapture's new video for their track 'Sail Away' is like experiencing the world through the eyes of a small child... on acid. Directed by Sydney's Kris Moyes, the short 8 the band's frontman, Luke Jenner, capturing a silver bag (...is it a goon sack?!) and riding it down the street, amidst a wave of psychedelia. There are elements of youthful whimsy, urban adventure and a couple of obscure religious references thrown in the mix. All in all, it's a fun video which captures the endless energy of this New York three-piece.
The Rapture will be playing Future Music Festival in March and we look forward to seeing if they'll whip out the 'silver purse' on-stage. For everything else you could possibly want to know about Future Music Festival (which we happen to think has one of the best line-ups of the summer) visit The Festivalist, Oyster's festival guide website.
