Watch: Sébastien Tellier's 'Russian Attractions'
Synchronised swimming in rivers of clear alcohol.
What do you get when you mix Vice, an alcoholic beverage that looks and tastes like water, and one helluva hedonistic Parisian electro bro? You get the new film clip from Sébastien Tellier, that's what. The guy who brought us the buck wild 'Cochon Ville' has teamed up with Vice and Air (the beverage, not the 'Sexy Boy' French duo) to bring us his latest video for 'Russian Attractions' from the album My God Is Blue. As expected, it's hectic. Especially if you love tripped-out synchronised swimming routines, performed under "water". Who's thirsty? You are!
The clip is directed by Meredith Danluck and is full of dancing, swimming, fan-waving babes, and a trailer's worth of American Apparel leotards. The fact that said babes look increasingly angry makes sense, especially when you realise the lyrics include lines like, "Russians play, I'm gonna eat your soul". That's our Séb! Don't go changin', you crazy cat.
