Watch The Throne Release Delayed (Again)

Americans will have to find a different album to provide the soundtrack for their 4th of July celebrations — Jay-Z and Kanye West's collaborative project Watch The Throne is not, contrary to previous reports, being released today. Fans of the bankable duo were holding out for a digital release after the album's release date has been pushed back for nearly a year, so this latest news is sure to be even more of a disappointment than the January-dropped single H.A.M. The unembellished word from Jay-Z's management is that it's "not happening", as "Ye" still needs to add his final touch of pizzazz.

While we watch and wait for Watch The Throne to see what that last bit of pizzazz might sound like, here are some vaguely patriotic 4^th of July songs that are guaranteed disappointment-free.
