Watch: Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom Trailer
The official trailer for Wes Anderson’s upcoming film Moonrise Kingdom has just been released and it looks like it’s going to be another amazing Anderson masterpiece. Set in 1965, the film follows the story of two twelve-year-old lovers (played by Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward) who set out to escape their small New England coastal town, causing the whole community to search for them. It will be interesting to see Bruce Willis (who now comes with hair!) play the town sheriff in an arty Anderson film starring alongside Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Bill ‘the boss’ Murray and Jason Schwartzman – because it wouldn’t be the same without the addition of these last two. Written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, we can expect this to be a quirky, witty, humorous and touching follow-up to other Anderson-directed films such as Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Life Aquatic and The Royal Tenenbaums.
Moonrise Kingdom is slated for a May 2012 release, but until then you can watch the trailer below:
