What we are looking forward to: MOVIES Martha Marcy May Marlene [February 2] – In which Lizzy Olsen escapes a cult.
My Week With Marilyn. [February 16] – Michelle Williams, in contrast to LiLo's million dollar Playboy spectacular, purports a tasteful and authentic version of Marilyn Monroe possibly earning her an Oscar nomination.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower [Date TBD] – The film is based on the 1999 cult novel by Stephen Chbosky and stars an extremely palatable cast including Oyster #95 feature-boy Logan Lerman, and also Emma Watson, Nina Dobrev, Mae Whitman, Paul Rudd.
We Need to Talk About Kevin's Ezra Miller. Not too shabby.
Shame [February 9] – Watch Carrie Mulligan sing Sinatra while Michael Fassbender perves at some ladies in the trailer below:

Golden Globes [January 15] – David Brent will facilitate laughs/awkward silences when he plays host for the third time.
Academy Awards [February 26] – Billy Crystal will host the Oscars for the 400th time. Nominations announced January 24.
Game of Thrones. [HBO, April] Doctor Who [BBC, Late 2012] – New episodes of in which, we hope, the far-superior David Tennant will return to replace Matt Smith.
True Blood [HBO, Midyear] – New episodes of True Blood in which Chris Meloni joins the cast as a really, really old vampire. You may know Meloni as Detective Stabler on Law & Order: SVU, bisexual serial killer Chris Keller in Oz and chef Gene in Wet Hot American Summer.
